A Little Wednesday Sunshine

Actually, I am staying out of the sunshine today because it is pretty darn hot outside and smoky from wildfires to boot! Inside, Hannah and I are hanging out; I’m knitting and she is playing with a new toy on her cat pillar. I just want to mention that I can knit because there is a new toy hung from her cat pillar…

Five days after coming home from the shelter Hannah pretty much owns the house.

There. Doesn’t that make you feel happy?

Happy Wednesday, everyone!

  1. It does, it does ! – and I know all about that business of sitting there with a beautiful little moggy on one’s lap that one simply cannot put off .. What ridiculous slaves we are to these small creatures, eh, Marilyn ? – and what joy they give us. Boodie is a rescue cat: I think he must’ve been the runt of the littler, as he’s now 18 months old and quite obviously isn’t going to grow any bigger .. So I’m lucky enough to have an ADORABLE teeny cat, who comes on walks around the place with me and is a totally brilliant companion – as Hannah is proving to be.
    Aren’t we lucky ?!

  2. Hannah is happiness personified. She appears to have lovely long limbs? Does she talk, chatter, yowl or perhaps make funny throat noises at you? My fat cat does this every morning indicating that ‘yes’ she would like the heater turned on (she is smack in front of it of course!). I suspect macKenzie did his share of chatting. Keep as well as you can.

    1. MacKenzie was a yowling demander who radiated disappointment if I didn’t move fast enough! Hannah is much more vocal in that the calls to find me, trills, and kind meows in her sleep. We’re still working out a routine, but she definately is very people oriented. Perfect kitten companion.

  3. Yes. Thank you. I have a special place in my heart for black and white kitties. My Chloe was black and white. She was the sweetest.
